Hitachi Air Conditioning to showcase its green product offering at Climatizacion

Hitachi Showcase The Future in Inverter Driven Air Conditioning & New High Energy Efficient Hot Water & Heating Systems Climatizacion

Hitachi Air Conditioning Group will exhibit its wide range of innovative units at Climatizacion 2011 – one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for air-conditioning, ventilation, cooling and heating technology.

The event – held at Feria de Madrid from March 1st-4th 2011 – saw Hitachi demonstrate its cutting-edge products, including its most energy-efficient units. The exhibition stand featured meeting space and comfortable hospitality areas. The stand will incorporated a special ‘green’ zone; offering visitors a detailed insight into the environmentally-friendly features of key Hitachi air conditioning units, including: The award-winning S-Series SX8, which is the most energy-efficient unit on the market with a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 6.13 and EER of 6.0. The range – capable of destroying 99.9 per cent of airborne viruses and bacteria whilst delivering the most comfortable level of heating and cooling – can also save end users’ money as it only costs approximately £18 a year* to run.

The Yutaki air source heat pumps range, capable of reducing CO2 emissions in domestic and commercial settings by up to 50% compared to boiler-led systems. Available from 5kW to 17kW, the Yutaki works by converting the latent energy in the air into cost-effective heating energy, with every 1kW of electricity used to power the heat pump providing up to 4 kilowatts of extra free energy in a well-insulated property. The Econofresh intelligent accessory device, which provides up to 100 per cent fresh air and can deliver ‘free cooling’ when outdoor temperature is below the indoor setting temperature. Working in conjunction with the RPI in the ceiling system, this device maintains the correct room temperature and provides natural fresh air – allowing for great energy savings.

Hitachi’s exhibition space at Climatizacion showcased other popular products, including its standalone control system, CS Net Web, and the modular FSXN VRF – capable of 3-pipe heat recovery or 2-pipe heat pump operation for flexible temperature control and increased efficiency. Caroline Hayes, UK Marketing Communications Manager at Hitachi Air Conditioning Group, said: “At Hitachi, our engineers have at the forefront of their minds a commitment to reduce CO2 emissions associated with our products by 100 million tons by 2025. Therefore, the ethos of a show like Climatizacion – with a focus on renewable energy – works in tandem with our increasingly ‘green’ product offering. We look forward to meeting with current and new distributors at the show, along with architects, engineers and installers.”
