Coventry Telegraph Newspaper’s
Chillaire Limited recently, designed, supplied and installed Hitachi’s award winning Utopia IVX heat pump multi split systems into the new premises of Coventry Telegraph newspaper.
After more than 50 years the Coventry Telegraph, which is owned by Trinity Mirror PLC, has moved from its existing premises on Corporation Street. The company is delighted to have relocated into a new modern office block situated within the popular Coventry Canal Basin area with canal side views.
Chillaire Limited who managed the project from design through to installation, selected the latest Hitachi Utopia IVX 2 pipe heat pump system for the impressive 3-storey building. The inverter driven systems were chosen for their high energy efficiency, especially in heating mode due to advanced heat pump technology.
When designing the system Chillaire opted for Hitachi 4 way blow ceiling cassette indoor units with a uniform square panel size to fit flush into the ceilings. The cassettes, which are one of the quietest on the market can be individually controlled creating a more economical and comfortable working environment.
The Hitachi Utopia IVX outdoor units have a much smaller footprint compared to the larger Hitachi VRF range, but come with many of the same benefits, including the latest inverter (energy efficient) technology.
Chillaire Limited have worked very closely with Coventry Telegraph for the past 15 years and look forward to continuing their relationship for many years to come.
